Give Hark its own phone number

Can Hark make phone calls?

Yes, through AgentLine. Hark's Handoff agent can open AgentLine in its browser, create a hosted phone agent, and buy a US number for $2.00 a month once you approve. That phone agent places and answers real calls at $0.10 a minute and receives inbound SMS, and Hark can review the transcripts afterward.

Hark already books tables, orders food, and pays bills through websites. AgentLine covers the tasks that still need a phone: a real US number with a hosted voice agent, call transcripts, and an inbound SMS inbox that Hark can set up and check in its browser.

What is Hark?

Hark is a personal AI assistant from Hark, the company led by CEO Brett Adcock. Hark Pro launched on October 6, 2026 on the web, iOS, and Android, with a free plan and $20 and $100 monthly tiers. Its Handoff agent works on its own secure computer with a full browser, uses websites the way a person would, and checks in before actions that need your approval. AgentLine adds what a browser cannot: a real US phone number for a hosted phone agent that Hark can set up and check on for you.

An AgentLine number reaches your hosted AgentLine phone agent, not your Hark chat thread. Talking to Hark in its own apps is a Hark feature and separate from this number. Live call handling runs on AgentLine; connecting Hark itself to live turns would require a persistent service.

Why give Hark a phone number

The tasks a browser cannot finish

Plenty of dentists, salons, and local shops still book by phone only. A hosted phone agent lets Hark's plan reach them.

A dedicated phone identity

Calls and texts go through a separate US number, never your personal phone.

Approval before spending

Hark checks in before consequential actions. Buying a number and placing calls stay under your control.

Prompt

Paste this to your Hark agent. It tells the agent how to use its number.

Set up Hark

Connect the tools, provision a number, and test the phone agent.

1. Hand the setup to Hark

Hark's Handoff agent uses websites the way you would, on its own secure computer with a full browser. Point it at the skill so it knows how AgentLine works before it opens the dashboard.

Read https://agentline.cloud/skill.md. Open agentline.cloud in your browser and tell me what is needed to set up a hosted AgentLine phone agent for me.

2. Create the phone agent and number

Hark drafts the voice prompt and you approve it. Numbers cost $2.00/month; calls cost $0.10/min, billed per second after a one-minute minimum; inbound SMS costs $0.02/message.

3. Test the number and review results

Call the new number from your own phone, then have Hark read the transcript and the inbound SMS inbox in the dashboard. For live lookups during a call, connect a persistent webhook service that AgentLine can reach.

FAQ

What is Hark?

Hark is a personal AI assistant led by CEO Brett Adcock. Hark Pro runs on the web, iOS, and Android, and its Handoff agent completes tasks on websites using its own secure computer and browser.

Does Hark have a phone number of its own?

Hark's published plans do not include a phone number, calling, or SMS. AgentLine supplies a US number for a hosted phone agent that Hark can set up and manage in its browser.

Can I call Hark on this number?

The number reaches your hosted AgentLine phone agent, which answers from the prompt you approved. It does not route into your Hark chat thread. Connecting Hark itself to live call turns requires a persistent integration service.

Will Hark spend money without asking?

Hark says it checks in before actions that need your approval. Ask it to confirm with you before buying a number or placing calls.

How much does an AgentLine number for Hark cost?

A US number costs $2.00/month. Calls cost $0.10/min with per-second billing after a one-minute minimum; a 0-second call is free. Inbound SMS is $0.02/message. Hark's own plans (free, $20, and $100 a month) are separate.

Is this an official Hark integration?

No. This is an independent AgentLine guide. Hark product names and artwork belong to Hark.
